4th of July

Our first fourth in Japan. Kadena had a festival with music, food, games, planes and fireworks. The static air display had both American and Japanese aircraft's. The headliners was Eve 6, we didn't stay to watch them it was just too hot on the flightine. So spent about an hour then headed to a BBQ. Then we headed to the squadron to watch the firework since the building was on the flightline.

Assignment Night

The Kelly's will be spending the next three years at Kadena AF, Okinawa, Japan. Alex will be flying the KC-135. I think we are still in shock over the whole thing. never thought I would be heading back to Okinawa. It will be very interesting to see how the place has changed since I was last there about 17 years ago.
